Susan Gallotte grew up in Bellevue, Washington and has lived in the greater Seattle area her entire life. She brings the best of her professional and personal experiences to her role as a Creative Engagement Specialist. Before joining the team at Aging Wisdom, Susan was a teacher, where along with her husband, also a teacher, they wrote, directed and produced musicals for the 5th and 6th graders. More recently, she worked for the King County Library System.
Susan loves to garden, share flowers with others, cheer on the Seahawks, hang out with family and friends, and host parties of all kinds, especially tea parties. Her favorite foods are dark chocolate, Earl Grey tea and fresh raspberries (those sounds perfect for a tea party!)
Reflecting on her work as a Creative Engagement Specialist, Susan shares “Being a companion with older adults has been a natural part of my personal life, especially as I walked with my mom through 14 years of health challenges. All my life, people have commented on how cheerful I am. I can help people with a loving smile, enthusiasm for life, and positive attitude.”
