Wendy Nathan, B. Sc., CMC, graduated from West Chester University in Pennsylvania with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Sciences and Respiratory Therapy and later earned a Certificate in Gerontology from the University of Washington.
Wendy combines two decades of experience in healthcare working in a variety of roles. For 15 years she worked intimately with older adults providing home care services and also as a licensed massage practitioner, work which provided her a unique opportunity to see how people age, and what influences them to age well or poorly. This fascination with aging was the springboard that led her to the UW certificate in gerontology and ultimately becoming a care manager. She relishes the opportunity to work with seniors.
In her spare time, Wendy is active as a volunteer for West Seattle Momentia, helping West Seattle become more dementia friendly. She also facilitates a caregiver support group for the Alzheimer’s Association. She loves to cook, read and spend time with her two kids and husband, especially outdoors. You can always find her at her neighborhood Farmers Market.
