In her role as a Certified Care Manager, Seton brings a genuine passion for and professional experience in aging and disability services. She approaches her work with an advocate’s heart, valuing each person as an individual and providing person-centered guidance and care. Seton joined our team in 2023.
Prior to pursing her Master of Social Work at the University of Washington, Seton worked for several years with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Her experience as a certified Home Care Aide and Adult Family Home provider offers her a unique perspective on long-term care.
During her master’s internship at the UW Memory and Brain Wellness Center, she developed a deeper understanding of the needs of older adults and their care partners, especially those living with memory loss. She also led a weekly caregivers support forum, and became a Dementia Friend Champion, focusing on the wonderful work of destigmatizing dementia, building dementia awareness and dementia-friendly communities.
Seton especially enjoys supporting the well-being of others and connecting them to opportunities that bring joy and purpose.
Outside of work, she enjoys hosting board game nights with her husband and live theater.
