What is your role at Aging Wisdom?
What made you want to work in the field of aging?
I was looking for a company that was making a positive impact on the community, and Aging Wisdom was one of the few companies that I felt really embraced that.
How has your job changed in the time you’ve worked at Aging Wisdom?
I started in an administrative supporting role, but now I am the entire office administrative team. Our processes continuously evolve, and we have implemented several new software systems in the last few years to help the company run more efficiently.
What do you love about your job?
I love being part of a supportive, positive, fun team.
Tell us about a professional success story that you’re proud of.
We recently rolled out new expense management software, which was a huge change for every person in the company. After training the team, they picked it up quickly and we had a great transition.
What motivates you?
To do a job well is very satisfying, so that is a motivation. Also setting a good example for my kids. Since I work from home, they see me in my work environment every day. They hear me talk about the successes, and challenges, that come up for me at work and how I respond to them.
